D.O.B. – January 25, 2010Thunder is a Young, Handsome, 95 lb American Labrador
with one of the finest Chocolate Bloodlines in the nation.
The Legendary 3x GRHRCH Dakota‘s Cajun Roux, M.H.,
is his Grand Sire and Thunder‘s Great Grand Sire is the
“Phenomenal“ 13x GRHRCH Missy’s Cajun Dakota, M.H.
Thunder is of the Darkest Tone of Chocolate and he’s the spittin’
image of his Grand Sire, 3x GRHRCH Dakota’s Cajun Roux.
Thunder has a Classic Bold Head, Very Intelligent,
All Muscle and has a very Sweet Disposition.
Thunder is a Well-Bred Gun Dog with a ton of “Natural Ability”
that does exceptionally well in the field. He loves being
a Gun Dog, Frisbee Dog, Home Companion and Sire.
He has the Brains, Beauty and the Brawn that is
associated with the Cajun Roux Bloodline.
Thunder’s ”Legendary” Grand Sire, 3x GRHRCH, U.H. Dakota’s
Cajun Roux, M.H., attained the first of his three GRHRCH Titles
by the age of two. He attained all three of his Grand Hunting
Retriever Champion titles by the age of four years old.
To date, he’s the youngest Labrador in HRC‘s history
to receive the GRHRCH Title.
Roux won the Bronze Medal at the Super Retriever Series
Crown Championship in El Campo, Texas in 2004.
To date, he is the First and Only Chocolate Lab
to ever Qualify and Compete in the
SRS Crown Championship.
Thunder’s Great Grand Sire is the Phenomenal 13x GRHRCH
Missy’s Cajun Dakota, M.H. (Cody) To date, Cody is the only
Lab in HRC’s Hunt Test History to be a 13x Grand Hunting
Retriever Champion. Cody is one of a very few Labradors
honored in the HRC Elite 2000 Points Club.
In 2003, Cody won the Silver Medal at the Super Retriever
Series Crown Championship in Northfield, Minn. and the
Bronze Medal at the ESPN Great Outdoor Games
in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
In 2002, Cody won the World‘s Duck Dog Championship
in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Cody and Roux, (Father and Son)
were two of the Top Nat’l Contenders in Field Competition.
Thunder carries the First and Only Chocolate
National Field Champion in Field Trial History
in his bloodline.
